IBC Tote Sizes

Poly one-way IBC totes are a favorite for handling, moving and storing industrial chemicals. They are also widely used in the food and beverage industry to store and transport syrups, food oils, alcohol, and other liquids.

Totes come in two standard sizes of 275 and 330-gallons. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) IBCs are rotationally blow molded, forming a single piece, so they are highly durable. These tanks are UN/DOT certified and can store liquids up to a 1.9 specific gravity, making them ideal for storing and transporting chemicals and liquids.

Both the 275 & 330 gallon sizes feature a heavy-duty base which is designed for four-way fork-lift entry and two-way pallet jack access. They also feature stacking lugs for appropriate alignment and stability when the tanks are stacked, allowing you to use space efficiently and save on labor, storage and freight costs.

The 275-gallon capacity is the most cost-efficient use of material and easily double stacks in common over-the-road trailers. The standard poly composite tote tank dimensions are a 40" x 48" base, with 275-gallon containers having an overall height of 46", and 330-gallon containers having an overall height of 53". A 330-gallon poly composite IBC tote has the same base dimensions as a pallet, but can hold as much as six 55-gallon drums.
